What is the difference between contract furniture and a simple furniture supply?
With a simple furniture supply, you select catalogue products and manage everything else independently. With MM Contract’s contract furniture service, we follow the entire process: design, custom production, supplier coordination, installation and turnkey delivery. The result is a coherent, functional space that is ready to use.
How much does a contract furniture project cost?
The cost of a contract furniture project can vary significantly depending on several factors: size of the space, level of furniture customisation, selected materials, project complexity and the presence of made-to-measure work. In general, professional contract furniture projects start from approximately €300 per square metre, but venues with highly customised furniture, craftsmanship details or complex concepts may require a higher investment.
During the first meeting, we analyse spaces, objectives and budget in order to define a project solution aligned with the expected investment and avoid surprises in later phases.
How long does a contract furniture project take?
Timelines depend on the size and complexity of the project, but generally include three phases: design, production and installation. During the first contact, we already provide an estimated timeline and plan priorities together, especially in the case of openings or reopenings with a fixed date.
Do you also work with external architects or design studios?
Yes. We can develop the project independently or work alongside your trusted architect or interior designer, handling technical engineering, custom production and fit-out.
Does MM Contract only manufacture furniture, or does it also provide design?
MM Contract can operate both as a custom furniture manufacturer on projects developed by architects and technical studios, and as an operational partner for complete fit-outs. The company integrates in-house production, technical design, supply coordination, installation and site management.
Which areas do you work in?
We mainly deliver contract furniture projects in Italy, with a strong presence in Central and Northern Italy, and we also evaluate international projects for structured interventions. During the first contact, we assess feasibility together based on the type and size of the project.
Can custom-made MM Contract furniture be returned?
No. Furniture made to order does not follow the same return logic as standard products. Each supply is developed according to dimensions, materials, finishes and specifications approved by the client. For this reason, MM Contract works with a structured technical process: surveys, drawings, dimensional checks, project confirmations and coordination before production.
